Five and a half hours of computer classes...

...Is what awaits me right now. Starting off with Photoshop, I'm waiting for the teacher to stop talking about the thing we did last time and let us get started with something new. Later we'll probably continue with our virtual Ubuntu machines or MySql. Long day in front of the computer, but fun!

Snowing

It's been snowing since I woke up, it's nice not to have just rain. Today my plans were cleaning and doing laundry, but I should be able to fit some gaming in there somewehere aswell. Been feeling kinda tired this weekend, so we'll see how much I'll get done today, perhaps it will be mostly gaming.

Early morning.. On a saturday!

Yesterday I went to bed quite early; around 2 a.m. I expected to be sleeping until 10 a.m. at least, but instead I find myself awake at 7.40. Unable to get back to sleep I stayed in bed, checking my phone for a while and then decided to just get up. I just had some breakfast while watching one of my series and now, as I look out the window on all the snow that fell yesterday, I'm thinking of my plans for the day. I don't really have any, so perhaps I could just play some computer games. How about some League of Legends? Haven't played LoL for nearly a week now, so it's about time. :)

Starcraft II

Tonight I thought I'd play a game I haven't played for quite some time now: Starcraft II. It's snowing right now, a lot, so I probably won't go outside anymore today anyways. I'm updating SC2 right now and look forward to play it again!

Phone games

Today I've been playing a game on my phone named "Jelly Splash". I'm not really sure why I play it. It's not great, in my opinion, but I am competetive and when I see people playing it, I just wan't to top that highscore.

Math and rain

Today I've been doing two things in school: math and watching a movie during history class. It's been a slow day today and it doesn't get better with this un-winterlike-weather. December is supposed to be a month of winter, with snow and cold. I'm starting to think it's some kind of delayed autumn, with rain and cold.
Snow tends to fall in late december and the real winter gets here in january. I am no fan of winter and cold, but I do prefer the snow to the rain.
In my opinion, if there were such a thing as a year with perfect weather in this country, it would consist of a summer that lasted longer than a month, for starters; summer for nine months and spring, fall and winter the remaining three months, with one month each. Unfortunately, I do not live in a country with that kind of weather. Some might say I should be happy to live in a place where the weather is not the same all year around but in all honesty, the grey, dull and cold weather is the weather we have - all year around, except a short summer when we really get to enjoy the warmth the season brings. I am always longing for summer, but I am truly happy that we don't have that exotic heat all year around, the climate we have during the summer (when it's not raining) is just perfect, and that is the kind of weather I wish we could have at least 80% of the year.

Nostalgia

Tonight I took a little trip down memory lane and played the very first edition of The Sims. Or rather, "The Sims Complete Collection" which I bought many years ago. It contains the original The Sims, along with all expansions to the first version of The Sims and I have to say, I forgot how much I liked those graphics and that old content. I don't usually play Sims, but in my opinion there is so much that is better with Sims 2 & 3, for example: in Sims 2 & 3 you no longer have to refill the mood meters every five minutes you play; they just went low so fast in the first Sims. Still, it was fun playing this game that I spent almost an entire summer on, over ten years ago. Time really flies and with so many new games and expansions released, it's easy to forget the old ones or the classics. Every now and then I enjoy blowing the dust off of an old game, install and play it. And sometimes, reminiscing about how my life used to be the last time (or the first time) I played that game.

Programming and Ubuntu

So today I'm having web class until lunch and as usual, we're working on our virtual Ubuntu machines. Kinda fun, but we've been at it a couple of times now and it's starting to feel repetitive. On the other hand, it's more interesting than the old html-writing, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Short day tomorrow

Tomorrow will be a very short day for me, only have classes from 8.40-12.00, so right after lunch (and after finishing a task for school) there will be plenty of time for gaming! :) The question is - what game?
